Reading - Q2 Week 3 Day 1

Today, student responded to a quote in their Reading Notebooks:

"The truth is always the strongest argument." --Sophocles

Then we watched a video about the crabbing industry in Maine. This will be part of the setting for our next novel.

Then we read the first chapter of Red Kayak and discussed the foreshadowing in the chapter. Each class made predictions about the story based on what is in Chapter 1.
