Writing Process

In Writing, we will be emphasizing that writing is a PROCESS this year. 

The purpose of a first draft is just to get it written. Students will practice strategies to improve their drafts and share both drafts and polished work with a writing partner.

One important skill that we will be practicing a lot this year is developing a claim/thesis and explaining why you believe that.
